Myofascial Release
Amy has gone through extensive training and is certified in the John Barnes’ method of myofascial release. A technique similar to the craniosacral therapy, with the focus on the fascia. Fascia is a tough connective tissue, the most abundant in the body. It surrounds and infuses every muscle, bone, nerve, vessel, and organ. Any malfunction of the system can bind the fascia, resulting in a restriction. Myofascial release is a whole-body, hands-on approach that uses sustained pressure on the myofascial restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. No lubricant is used unless other techniques are requested.
